The town has its church of St. Thomas, which dates back to the 14th century. This church is a real gem for all lovers of history and architecture. Also, during the summer months, Petrovac hosts many cultural events, including concerts, exhibitions and theatre performances. One of the most famous manifestations is “Petrovacka noc”, which is traditionally held at the end of August every year.

The best beaches in Petrovac

Petrovac city beach

City Beach is the main beach in Petrovac, about 600 meters long and covered with small pebbles. This is an ideal place for families with children because of the shallow entrance to the sea. The beach is surrounded by restaurants, cafes and bars, which makes it the perfect place to spend the whole day.

Lucice beach

Lucice Beach is a little less known, but it is a real pearl among the beaches of Montenegro. It is located south of the main beach and can be reached by walking along the coast.

Beach Buljarica

Buljarica Beach is great for camping and barbecuing and is also a popular destination for water sports enthusiasts, such as diving and sailing.

Attractions in Petrovac

Castelo
